Healthwatch Cornwall has recently relocated from their previous office in Truro City Centre to a new, more accessible location in Heron Way, Newham.

The new premises, located within Calenick House, offer improved facilities including a dedicated board room and open-plan shared office space. This move, completed in May, is already making a positive impact on the organisation’s operations and engagement capabilities.

Strategic developments and new contracts:

In addition to their new office, Healthwatch Cornwall is excited to announce their recent commissioning of two five-year contracts by Cornwall Council, effective from June 2024. These agreements underscore the commitment to enhancing health and social care services across Cornwall.

Enhanced mission and community impact:

With these new contracts, Healthwatch Cornwall will continue to amplify the voices of people using health and social care services in the County, gathering and listening to residents' experiences and ensuring their feedback informs improvements in service quality. By providing insights to NHS leaders and other decision-makers, Healthwatch Cornwall aims to help shape a better standard of care for all throughout the County.

Additionally, the organisation will continue to offer information and signpost to reliable and trustworthy information and advice within the community.
