Debbie leads Healthwatch Cornwall in delivering its mission to ensure the public's voice is heard and acted on. She is responsible for operations, representing the organisation at strategic level, governance, finances and legal compliance.

Jenny Wheeldon, Research Manager

The Research Manager is responsible for producing clear and impactful reports based on robust data analysis. This role focuses on delivering four issue reports and six review reports annually, ensuring that findings are actionable and contribute to the improvement of health and social care services in Cornwall.

Sarah Jones, Project Coordinator (Core)

Sarah oversees the efficient coordination and management of various projects and engagement activities with the community, collecting feedback from service users regarding health and social care services in Cornwall, to deliver impactful outcomes.

John collates and validates all the feedback we receive, so that we can accurately report the views expressed to us from physical events in Cornwall and from online sources including our web forms, surveys and social media.

Ben Uren,  Administrative Support Officer

As our Administrative Support Officer, Ben plays a key role in keeping our day-to-day operations running smoothly and efficiently. From managing essential office tasks to assisting with research and engagement activities, his support is felt across the organisation, ensuring every department has what it needs to operate seamlessly.

Partnership Boards 

 

Robert O'Leary, Partnership Boards Lived Experience Officer

Robert is responsible for coordinating and managing the Partnership Boards in liaison with the individual group chairs and key stakeholders for each board. Robert facilitates the development of the groups’ strategies and plans, organises regular meetings, ensures actions are progressed and seeks to ensure diverse representation from across each target group.

Jay Thompson,  Partnership Board Administrator

As our Partnership Board Administrator, Jay plays a key role in supporting the partnership boards. With a blend of administrative and marketing duties, Jay creates content for social media, flyers and other outreach materials for the partnership boards, as well as assisting with coordination of meetings, attendance and minute taking.
