Healthwatch Cornwall has been appointed to hear the stories of people in Cornwall who have received support through safeguarding. They are setting up a user group that represents the many different people who have been through the safeguarding process.
The NHS has spent the past year talking and listening to lots of different people across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly about their mental health and the support that’s available to them. They want to understand what things are important, what’s working well, and what things need to change.
Since our launch in April 2018 Kernow Maternity Voices Partnership has led the way with the Better Births transformation agenda in the South West of England.
During the past 18 months the NHS and Cornwall Council have been working with people who live and work in these areas to understand what health and care services are needed in the community.
There are currently some services under review within Adult Social Care. You have the opportunity to tell Cornwall Council what you think as part of the engagement process.
